Probation of Will

I was left a car in a will of someone who died a few weeks ago. The deceased filled out, signed and had documents notarized months prior, including application/transfer of title along with several other documents to get the car transferred to my name. She even gave me a copy of the itemized list of the will showing that I get this car, VIN # included. The executor of the will says it's in probate and I cannot have the car until this is complete and refuses to give me the keys. The deceased formerly told me I have all the paperwork I need to take possession of the vehicle upon death. What rights do I have? How do I get the vehicle? Do I have to wait until the will is probated?

You do have to wait.
no one gets anything til it is determined there r no bills to pay, or property could have to be sold.

Yeah, you'd have to wait.

and for how you find a while? you'd probably have to talk to the family, or lawywers or probate people to see what will there was and what was left to whom.
