Need a title for abandoned motorcycle.

Motorcycle broke down in my yard.No one has to get it in 4years.I live in elba,al36323 would like to know what i can do to get a title for it.

Call the police with the vin number and see if its stolen. If it is see if there was any insurance payout. If so contact the insurance company and tell them you have the bike and to come and get it but only after they pay for storage ($5 per day is about $7300). If they asked why you didn't report it earlier tell them you did but nobody came out. Chances are they'll send you the title if they have it. If there's no information, go to the county clerk and apply for an abandoned vehicle title. I guess my question is why did you wait four years?
