Property line change.

We have property that has survey markers in the sidewalks that are 60 to 80 years old that have been remarked by surveyers within the last year or two for other surveys for new homes around our home and not changed. The house next door was torn down and the lot is going to have two homes built, it was just resurveyed and the new survey markers are about two feet over on our property and not near the old survey markers why would this be and what do we do . Also our fence that at one time we thought was one foot on our property , is now on the neighbors new surveyed property line ? Thank you for helping.
