Bank levy

The bank has nothing to do with the Levy. It is issued by the county or state that is trying to recover the 2 months of child support that you owe. However, they can only levy the amount you owe, not your entire balance! Once the money you owe has been taken out of the account, they will un freeze the rest of your money.

If the mother of your daughter has been stealing from the government by taking welfare when she was not entitled, you should visit her county or states website and report it in detail.

Get an attorney and appeal the case with the state. Thats your only option at this point.

I did contact the DA in santa clara county in california about this and really no luck they keep saying back in the 80s ? like um so long ago what do you expect us to do ? well if its too long ago why did you take my work comp settlement money( and im disabled) of 18 thousand for being 2 payments behind (reason i was 2 payments behind ) my work comp switched from that to SSD and i was moving at the time but its NOT NOT CHILD SUPPORT ITS WELFASRE FRAUD COMMITTED BY HER its easy for the state of california to go after me then her because they think she has nothing ? she owns a home and has never worked a day in her life but has used guys like me and the state to pay her way and is very proud of the fact that" ive never worked a day in my life!" if you could hear her say it like ive heard her say it YOU would be as mad as i am and guess what the state and all the answers im getting here BACK HER UP! WAKE UP PEOPLE ! she is stealing food from those that really do deserve it and laughing about it ....and most here say yeah she has the right ? WHAT ? she's used the welfare system like a fiddle and you guys say good for her ? and i should have to pay back what she stole ? please is there anyone out there with a brain anywhere ?

If your wife recieved welfare benfits for 25 years, you should of been aware of it, since in order for her to recieve the beneifits she has to sign papers giving her consent for the state to go after you for child support. The state would of known that the mother was recieving child support if you have been paying for 25 years. They would of pursued you and found out when they tried to take you to court for the child support, I am not quite sure why the state would wait this long to prusue you for any back child support. Something just is not right with this picture. I can sujest you consult with an attorney, if you have paid the mother support all these years and have proof then you need an attorney, because if the mother has frauded the state then she has to pay the price not you. I wish you luck, but to recoop your money you would need an attorney.

Ok ill try to explain it slowly .....first i must give a example of what this family was like ...my ex wife and her mother and her brother and my ex wifes 4 or 5 year old daughter all lived in this home and no one worked ....i started to date her (ex wife ) after 6 months she got pregnant ...i seen her maybe 2 or 3 times a month ...when she got pregnant ...i asked how do you pay your bills ? (she had told me that she own the home ?)....she said welfare ...i said okay you need to get off that and ill pay for all of us from here on out (my ex wife her mother her brother her 4 or 5 year old daughter ) she said okay ....and she did ...so now maybe 2 years go by (im working 10 to 15 hours a day in construction )..to make ends meet ...one night a knock at the door ...i answer it ..some guy said you've been served ? and he runs away ?....i look at her (ex wife) and ask her whats this ?...she said to me ....YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE BIRTH OF YOUR DAUGHTER .......then i say well there's a court date here ? she said to me IF YOU WANT TO GO TO COURT TO DENEY THAT SHES YOURS GO AHEAD ?.....so im thinking to myself ...well she seems to know about this crap so ill believe her ...so i started to pay for what i thought was the birth of my daughter for over 20 years ive payed over 16 grand .....well in 2001 i got hurt on the job ....but still made payments ....then my work comp stopped and my SSD started took two months for that to happen ....i feel behind in payments ...took my work comp settlement check for 28 grand to BOA and tried to cash it they said there's a hold on it ? i asked for what ? they said because its allot of money ?come back in 5 days and you can get your money ...so i come back in 5 days they say SANTA CLARA COUNTY TOOK 18 THOUSAND BECAUSE YOU WERE BEHIND 2 PAYMENTS ?.........my ex wife hid all the mail except for junk mail that what happen
