Ss and ssi

I am disabiled and draw ssi i worked in 1992 and 1993 well 2 and one half years can i draw ss with my ssi

I don't know if you are going to mee the "quarter" requirements BUT you have nothing to lose by applying; yes you can draw both
there are many attorneys that will represent you at no cost unlees you do get you SSDI, just look for social security disability attorneys online or in the phone book

You must of already been denied by social security, because in order to get SSI you would have to be denied by social securty, SSI falls into place when social security denys you because you did not pay in enough to recieve the benifits, so then SSI takes over. Working for a year is not enough time to pay in enough to get social securty benefits. If it were you would still have to be paid by SSI to make up the difference of what you did not get from social security.
