I agree. Usually they will drop down the fines if you are a first time offender. Just do what they ask of you (driving classes, etc.). You can also see if they will let you make payments to the court if the fines get really expensive. It sucks, it's honestly just one of those things you have to chalk up to the old live and learn. Sorry to hear about it!

But let me update you.
I got my License validated in before going to court .
In teh court they just asked to see my valid license and then they handed me the choice for jumping red light. I took the class and fine which cam eto 82$.
