Trust beneficiaries

A trust was set up for my stepmother in my father's will. At my stepmother's death the money was to be divided between my brother and I. My brother is deceased. He leaves two daughter's to share in his half of the money. Trust is ran throught a bank to which I must report there addresses. Since my stepmother is still alive and my realtionship with the two girls isn't real good. They both live far away; and both from different marriages. How can I make them accountable to the trust of their current address, without me having to track them down?

A trustee must make a reasonable effort to keep tabs on trust beneficiaries, else the trust will be unable to distribute when it needs to in the future.
Track them down and notify them that it will be to their financial advantage to keep you apprised of their mailing address. You don't need to have a relationship with them, in fact a letter from the bank or an attorney would be even more impressive.
