If law enforcement finds out she has a felony warrant, she would be arrested and held on a Fugitive from Justice warrant - thus holding her for the State of California. This would be a no bail warrant, in other words she could not get out of jail until which time California tells Michigan "we don't want her" or they tell Michigan "We want her and are filing for a Govenors warrant to return her" If they file for a govenors warrant, which is the norm... she would be returned to California within 90 days to face charges thier.

I was researching the laws on extradition. You got the right answer. I didn't know though if, when we go to court and they find this information out, what they would do. Thank you

If you are only going to civil court - they really won't put the two together - if you mention it in Court, they may think you are just throwing out accusations. If you are wanting her picked up on it, and it is a verified warrant, the morning of Court, call your local law enforcement office, inform them that you know of someone with a felony embezzlement warrant from California that will be appearing in justice court on an unrelated matter. They will send an officer to arrest her at the Court - usually immediately after the hearing is concluded.

They would release her and either quash the warrant or make it a local (Calif) warrant where they would only prosecute if she is arrested in Calf.
