What is the best way to get my name on my mother in law title?

I recently sold my house and bought into my mother-in-laws house.
She owed 127,000 on a property valued at 165,000. I've put 25-30,000 into the house since june 1st. what is the easiest way to get my name on the title without doing a re-fi?

Well I don't think that is possible just to put your name on the tilte if your not on the loan. Even if she refinaced the home your name would not be on it. You can have her check with her bank but I don't think it works the way you think it does. I hope it does but don't be surprized if it doesn't.
