If you are not sure it is your baby I would wait until you are asked for a DNA test either by the court or by the state...if you sign paternity and later find out it is not your child then it is really hard to get out of that mess.. sometimes the courts will make you continue to pay for the child until it's 18 even though it's been proven it's not yours.. I f there is any doubt I'd wait and see... my brother went through the same thing... she insited it was his and when he insited ona DNA test to answer it once and for all she told eveyone she was scared to do the test... everyone figured she didn't have a clue who the baby's dad was even when the state offered to order the DNA test... remember if you sign claiming you are the baby's dad you are responsible for the child unitl it is an adult ( what ever your state laws are )... I know you want to do the right thing but you need to go about this the smart way for all concerned.. Gook luck
