Need help joining army

I was in a car accident years ago where i had an extremely high restitution fine put against me. besides the completion of the restitution payment witch will take me the next 15 years to pay off all of the case is finished with. the case will remain active until i pay it off. i have been trying to get into the military for almost a year i passed all of my test to qualify to goto special forces but i was told by my recruiter that with an open case i can not enlist. there is no way i can pay off the huge fine to be able to enlist but if i joined the military i would still be able to continue to pay it off. is there any way to get around being kept out due to a fine ?

No not what so ever is there..as long as you have an open case due to fines or anything they will not let you in till it is resolved it is a legal matter therefore they do not get involved. However, depending on the county you live in you may always talk to the judge in seeing if the restitution that you owe could be cleared due to your intrest in joining the military. Not all states and counties are like this. The one I live in however will in some cases depending on the amount owed
