First state, or first state to join the union?

Delaware was the first state to ratify the United States Constitution in 1787. There is only one First State and Delaware is it.

Vermont was the first state admitted to the Union after the original 13 colonies.

Lol yeah i finally found it..... it was delaware... Thank you.... the one to ratify the Consitution.
