Given time as a variable, YES. Eventually it is going to rise as it runs out, after they release it all from within the earth. I do not think it will ever go back down to 1.25 or below. I think it might fluctuate around where it is now 2.00-2.99. Within the year it will rise, and within the next 20 years it will rise higher and higher. I would say it will not dramatically change for a couple of years. After 2012 it might spike and the norm will be around 3.50-4.00. It will then start doing this not every 2 or 3 years. However it will start to spike every 2 years or so. Then every year. Then it will be gone, only military will have it. We need to give it up before they suck it dry. However greed is hindering that logical thought process, with greed logic seems to go out the window.

Looking back to 2007-2008, I recall that rising gas prices and 4.00 per gallon gasoline really slowed the US economy and caused prices to rise across the board due to the fact that every product relies on petroleum...
Why does gasoline station has different gas prices? I was just wondering. There are those stations that sells gas for less and those that are high in prices. Is there some difference on the gas components?
Given the escalation of gas prices in the USA of late, is it time to: (a) nationalize oil prices -- meaning government buys all US oil supply at fixed cost, (b) end oil speculation, and or (c) fix max price...
Since food is a #1 import to many areas, it seems that agriculture will come back into the center of our lives if the prices of oil and gas continue to rise.
Gas prices are starting to slowly creep up. How much is it were you live? How high do you think it will go? I live in Pa and gas prices are about $2.77 in my area for regular gas.
