Controlled substance

In 1977 i was charged with having 7 grams of hash. I was sentenced to 1 yr in the Indiana Dept of Corrections, suspended, and placed on 1 yr probation. I do not know what class felony this is but after over 30 yrs and been a truck driver for the last 21 yrs I have not touched anything for over 25 yrs. I would like very much to be a game warden and get off the road. Any ideas you can share on what i can do to see if this record can be erased would be great. I'm getting older now and the tired of being on the road. Thank You.

The term is" EXPUNGED" your record is expunged from view when a check is done.
Yes, I have a friend that had this same problem. He got a Lawyer to petition the court.
Went before a Judge. He showed that he had stayed out of trouble for so many years. supports his family has raised kids, etc., and he explained that he felt he was beyond that now and needed a chance to better his life. I am an electrical contractor and I wrote a letter for him, as a character witness.. He was working for me part time I also have known him for years. Once this has gone through the courts the record was sealed and it is not supposed surface after this when a record check is done on you. I would suggest getting as many refereces prior to filing tyhis in the courts to ensure you get it done. Good luck.

Just to add to my above answer, not only did it work for my friend it was done fast! No issues or questions, done quietly and that was it!
