If someone sends an email from their own computer to their business, personal, other database that is political, Can the sender be charged?

Charged for what? Personal use of company email? Political email is inappropriate for the work place and if you send one from your own computer to co-workers email you could have a problem with your employer but I'm not sure what other issues there may be.

I agree with Guido while political email at work is inapproprate it is not illegal. Since it was sent from there personal computer to work the employer can only site them with the campaining and not with using time at work for personal use. It could get someone in trouble but not illegal what so ever.
