Have you heard? The oil has now reached Pensacla, Fl beaches!

I was born Fl and raised a bike ride from Cocoa Beach - I am beyond upset and feel so helpless. Day 65 and no end in site - Check out this site for some staggering statistics and a map of the spread.

Ya this is the most burning issue all over the world. So if you could tell us what are the necessary steps that are been taken near Pensacala, if you have come across any.
Some angry comments are there on the link which you have given , but ya that is really is expected.

Many people - myself included - believe there is at least 50% of the oil still there - (including Susan Shaw a marine toxicologist and head of the Marine Environmental Research Institute).....Even when/if the very last drop of oil is removed, the effects will be felt and seen for generations. Even the old White House is spinning a rosy - all the oil is gone tune - and it just aint so. State officials in Louisiana are still reporting lots of oil gobs coming to shore. Google how much oil is still in the Gulf or something similar and you'll see the smart, non partisan masses of scientists, educators, environmentalists, etc. who really know what's going on.

It is ironic that the Mayans, Hopi, Christian bible, and many other religious sources claim at the end of days the sea will turn black and the fish and fowl shall die. Well we know about the fish, but what about the birds? Well as we are now seeing birds dropping dead right out of the sky. http://www.siouxcityjournal.com/news/local/state-and-regional/article_ 0777e486-b41e-544a-94c3-b1047919edb1.html

This is just one case of the dead birds. In Tennessee there was another case of birds dropping from the sky, there are thousands all over the world now as well. You know when I read these things about the ocean turning black, I never even considered it would be mans fault, however why am I really surprised anyway. Our greed will surely decimate us. I read in the bible years ago about the oceans turning red, I figured red tide around the world. However now I realize, and have read about the old spills around the world. The things we clean the oil up with are highly toxic. It is amazing how we wonder why these birds are falling from the sky. One must look no farther than BP to get the answer to that question. Good luck to all and GOD bless, Yes I have heard we are in trouble.

No problem, thanks for the award. I just find it sad some people think that the oil spill in the Gulf is just gone, and done.
