Help for low income in Lynchburg Va
Hi
I have been searching for foundations,charities, govt. agencies for help for disabled low income individuals. I am 62 yrs. live alone in very bad conditions but not having enough money to make it thru the month. I make $643 a month and am extremely depressed that I can't find any help. I am online searching everyday.
Would there be any direction you can point me to get the help I need so desparately? I have prescritions of $60 a month that is having Medicare part D. Medical bills I cannot pay. Personal property taxes I can't pay. I owe $2200 and they won't work with me. In Va. you can not get a decal for your car to drive legally unless your taxes are paid. So I drive illegally but I do carry libability on the car. My mobile home is 18 yrs. old the bathroom floor is falling in and the tub or shower can't be used as the floor is rotted out under the tub and the tub has a crack all the way down the middle of the tub so any weight could make it fall thru altogether. It is a dangerous situation. I have no heating & cooling system that works. I only have 3/4's of a back door so I use a blanket to try and keep the cold & heat out. I doesn't work very well. My car is 13 yrs. old and the brakes and tramission is shot.
Please help me! I need it so bad the only reason I get up everyday is because I have (3) precious pets...(2) dogs & an old cat. If I didn/t thave them I would not have a purpose in lik]fe. I truly mean that.
My family I have none and no friends.
