Holiday Pay

If a company pays holiday pay but chooses not to pay an employee because they claim they don't have enough overhead into the job, is this legal?

If you work more than 40 hours in a 7 day period then you would get overtime for anything over the 40.
If you worked less than the 40 then no, they do not have to pay you. Next time ask ahead of time before you work the holiday.
