Is it possible for a college student who does not want to live on campus nor with a room mate and can not live at home anymore get a good apartment in Chicago rent free or until they get a job?

Well, if you have student loans it can cover housing, but you'll have to pay for it once you graduate. Other than that, no. Usually you'll have to find a job then find an apartment if you don't want to crash on a friends couch.

Not sure since I don't live in Chicago.
