How do you reflect a change in decision after the meeting. This was not reflected in the minutes 'coz it happened after the meeting. How do you relfect that in the minutes of the meeting?

On 2/28/09, Spekaer A was going to be invited for December to be the guest speaker. This was reflected in the minutes of the meeting. On the next meeting, somebody said that Speaker A declined so Speaker B will be the guest speaker. They said to amend the minutes of the meeting. My question is: Is this right? What really transpired during the meeting was that Speaker A will be the guest speaker. So, how do you mention that in the minutes of the meeting --- that the minutes is being amended ...?
