How long does a misdermeaner stay on your record?

I used to work for ekerd pharmacy as a cashier since the age of 16. shortly after i turned 21 they had me questioned about not scanning all items. i got a surman to appear in court for petti thieft. no contest plea.

A misdemeanor will stay on your record forever. However, given the circumstances, it will probably have little or no effect on your life, as most employers will still hire you as long as you disclose it and provide an explanation.
