How to retrieve money owed.

I had a friend who needed some money to buy the tags and title for a car she just purchased. I let her use my credit card to put about a thousand dollars on and now I have given her months to pay it off put she refuses to pay me back. Since this was just a verbal agreement, do I have any chance of winning in Small Claims Court. If not what else would I be able to do.

Yes small claims court, make sure you bring your credit card statement with you and it will show the courts the amount where the payment was made and she'll have to bring her documents as well it will have the same dates and costs good luck
