I am looking to adopt someone i know, how would i go about doing so?

I want to adopt my best friend kendra and her mom said that she would sign the papers if we got them but i cant find anywhere that i could just print them out. can i print them, sign them, and take them somewhere or do i have to go somewhere and get them, HELP ME!

By adopting someone, you agree to become their legal guardian -- basically, that person's parent -- legally and financially. Because this is a serious legal activity, you have to be an adult to do it.
If you are of age, then I would suggest that you get an attorney experienced in adoption procedures to help you. Paperwork that you could print from the internet might not be correct for the state you live in.
