If it is on the internet it MUST be true

Have you ever seen so many things on the internet that you know are so false that are almost laughable. but because enough people have seen it, it almost gives it a thread of validity? the whole, if it is on the internet it MUST be true.

But then, that is why sites like this can exist http://www.snopes.com/

I just read this article about a man claiming to have done cocaine and had gay sex with presidential candidate Barack Obama. It is just so laughable that people actually take this claim seriously at all. LOL

What other stories or articles have you found that are so laughable that you almost want to say, it is on the internet then it MUST be true?

I just can't believe people read this and think it's true. Obama has been the target of many as of lately. Emails circulating that Obama is muslim and will only swear on the Qu'an is false.
