Is there a skills test for GTA aluminum flange edge welding?

I'm trying to find a skills test for aluminum flange edge welding. At my company, aluminum tops are welded to aluminum exciter boxes.
The material is 6061-T6 and the thickness is .062. is there a specification for this type of weld that includes a skills test?
