Ms works 9.0 product key

Check your buddy's CD for a product key, or the back of your comp.

I had a rebuilt computer with microsoft windows I have a spreedsheet on it , had to get a new computer saved info on usb to new comp. now need a porduct key # HELP THANKS

Your best bet today is to move away from MS works / MS Office. It is hard to just keep up with the incompatible formats and the newer versions from Microsoft that force you to re-learn things that you could once do so easily in earlier versions. Plus the Microsoft programs are bulky and expensive (not to mention, more vulnerable to malware, forcing you to keep up with endless security patches).

The trend is without a doubt towards "Software as a Service". Try Google Docs - where you can create / edit /store all your docs right on the Web - http://docs.google.com. You will need a google account.

Or download OpenOffice from http://www.Openoffice.org. This is an office suite that can do most things that Microsoft Office can - and it's free!

You will either need to use your buddy's key to get MS Works running, or else buy a new copy.

you can call dell and hve them send you a restore disc, but that might cost you some money to have you send you a new one.
