The attorney should be ablr to answer this for you ,I would think that if no one else has claim on the property , the Quick Clain deed is good , consult the attorney

The county should have copies of the recorded quit claim. Any transfer of property title is always recorded through the county office. Depending upon where you live, the county may have on online property check where you can access copies of the recorded documents. A title company can also perform a property search to reveal to you all of the recorded records. Usually there is a small cost for their services however so I'd advise obtaining the documentation from the County.

Also...hopefully the quit claim document(s) for the properties have been recorded. If not, then yes, you will need to consult the attorney who has them in his possession and ensure that they are sent to the County Recorder's office to be recorded of record.
