Neighborhood association attorney charging fee 5 times higher than dues

I was late with association fee of $130 and the association attorney has contacted me for payment and his attorney charges over $300 to be paid in 15 days and I wanted an invoice detailing what services he performed. Now, 30 days later I have received another letter telling me the attorney fees are now over $500 again with no invoice detaling services rendered. I paid the association fee back in October and I have no idea why this attorney is performing even more services for a fee that has already been paid. Please help me. this is not the first time these attorneys have done this to me.

But you paid your association fee of $130 already? right?

When did yo pay it, before the $300 letter, after that before the $500 one, or after you got the $500 letter from the lawyer?

I paid it after receiving the $300 letter and before receiving the $500 letter, so I do not understand why the additional $200 charges and I have not received any invoice stating exactly what the $337 charges pertain to since all I have received is a certified letter which costs less than $3.00. Thank you.

I paid it after receiving the $300 letter and before receiving the $500 letter, so I do not understand why the additional $200 charges since all work should have ceased once the fee was paid. I have not received any invoice stating exactly what the $337 charges pertain to, all the attorney has done that I can see is sending me a certified letter which costs less than $3.00. Thank you.

Have you taken these letters to your association, telling them that you paid the fee, and you want these charges from their lawyers to stop?

No I have not, I did not know where to start and assumed that I needed an attorney to fight the association's attorney. what do I do if the association does not intervene (i have doubts because I paid the associatoin fee directly to the association and they forwarded it to the attorney, so shouldn't the association have told the attorney to stop) also the letter charging me over $300 in attorney fees acknowledges my $140 association payment. Thanks again.
