Is there a special form you need because the person who does my taxes never puts in the money i give to the church

If you itemize deductions (as opposed to taking the standard deduction) which you will do if you own a home, you will fill out a Schedule A. But in order to deduct this from your taxes you will need to have documentation of your donations like a check stub and pledges do not count.
