Quid pro quo literally means "what for what." It is a legal term for giving one valuable thing for another, such as the consideration in a contract. If you are referring to sexual harassment, it is exchanging some benefit (promotion, job security, better office, whatever) on the job for sexual attention of some sort.

QUID PRO QUO - is latin for 'what for what' or 'something for something.' The concept of getting something of value in return for giving something of value. For a contract to be binding, it usually must involve the exchange of something of value. I hope this helps.
