To always assume the best in everyone. Even when you are in traffic and you know the person that goes in the lane that is ending to cut in front of everyone that is waiting patiently. You will like people more and be a happier person.
Ha Ruchele that was the other thing that I have learned this year - you really CANT do it all! The house can be clean, dinner can be made and time can be spent with your family, but never all at once!
I wish I had learned it earlier in life.
Something I've learned is to never stop the quest for new ideas and experiences. Try everything you can and don't assume that someone, because of their job or situation in life, doesn't have something to offer. No matter how loud you yell, if a person doesn't speak your language, volume's not going to act like the Rosetta Stone. And finally this:
An old man has no hair,
A baby's head is just as bare.
Somewhere, between the cradle and the grave,
There lies a shave.
Always know there is a way.
Believe in yourself. Always.
Sometimes, you have to quit being the person you are, to become the person you were meant to be.
The best time-management trick ever. If you have a task that will take less than 5 minutes, do it immediately. You would be shocked how many things you can get off your task list by just doing this.
Jodi lol I set my timer for 15 minutes at a time, it is shocking what you can get done in 15 uninterupted minutes LOL
