Why is the gel coat not drying that i aplied on my boat

I am repairing my boat and I applied gel coat and it is not drying what should i do

Dude...if you used gel coat, it will remain tacky. It is made to dry and harden in an airless environment. Sand it down with 50 grit sand paper...just as surface prep, wipe down with acetone, then paint with top coat. Top coat requires hardener, and is made to harden with exposure to air. Top coat is a form of gel coat.
