Will my voice get better?

I am teaching first grade. I just started about a month ago. My voice is hoarse from talking all the time. I feel fine, my voice sounds like im sick. Will it go back to normal? Is there anything to do to make it get back to normal?

A teacher that can;t talk - a kid's dream come true. Gargle with two teaspoons of salt and warm water. Keep a bag of Halls in the desk drawer, honey and lemon tea, avoid caffeine and alcohol. During the day try and drink a few sips of warm water. Speaking often dries out the throat, the object is to lube the throat, thus the Halls, honey, warm water, etc. Stop speaking beyond your normal volume, if the kids say they can't hear you move around more. Your voice will return to normal about July 1st, give or take a month
