Your court order that directed the child support payments should stipulate when the payments end. In most states, they will not require you to pay child support past age 18, or if the child is still in high school, past age 21.
If your child is over age 21, chances are you are no longer required to pay child support. But you should check with your clerk of court to see if there is some type of paperwork you must submit requesting relief from the child support payments. Even when you are no longer "legally" required to pay, some states still require you to obtain a judge's signature on a court order stopping the payments.
