Claiming

I have just turned 30. i have lived with my dad all year. i have not been able to work. i have filed for disability. my dad has supported me all year. is he able to claim me on his taxes?

He can't claim you as a child since you must be 18 or younger but if you are completly disabled then he could claim you as a dependent.

If you are a blood relative, you lived with your father for the entire year and your income was essentially zero; yes, your dad can claim you as a dependent and also file as head of household.

Yes he can as long as your not on SSI and have not filed any incom tax yourself.
