Bird makes whining noises

I have an african grey parrot and after i hold her for a little while she starts crouching down and puffs her feathers and starts making whining or fussing sounds. any ideas as to what it means

They get depressed if they don't get lots of happy attention, I would put a happy song on like the lyrics
to bad boys tv show or a good likable song and play it every time you put him down.

My bird always does that, it's a sign that he VERY much loves you. My bird loved no one else after he did that, and when he does that, you just scratch his neck gently, and they'll love it, trust me. My bird always nibbles my ear and hair whenever I do that. He loves you.
