What pets have you had and what was your favorite or least favorite?

I've had parrots, lizards, mice, dogs, cats - I had a pretty open house. What kind of pets did you have growing up? Which pets did you like the most or the least?

My current dog is a Miniature Pinscher and she is the best. We picked up a stray maltese once, lickity she could pay soccer really well. My favorite cat was Mr. Cat I loved him dearly but was never on a first name basis with him.

I had an African grey once, and she was so cool. They are really smart - they say they are as smart as 5th graders and can do simple math. We lived alone, Gizmo and I in this creepy old apartment that I swear is haunted to this day!

We had watched the excorsist around Haloween and guess what! She started making those demonic hissing sounds. All the time coupled with this really creepy laugh. I was so freaked out all of the time, that it was either move out of the apartment or find Gizmo a new home... well I still had 6 months on my lease!

Great pets, but too smart for their own good!

I have had cats, hamsters, fish, boxers, pitbulls, rots, and dobermins. My most favorite is the pitbull. When treated right and raised well they are the most loving and loyal dogs ever!

We've had labs, and maltese dogs. My favorite is maltese. Labs are the best to own, for big dogs. They are very smart and lovable. Great dogs for kids.

Birds are great pets such as parakeats and cockatiels they are easy to train and are not to expensive to care for.

With two brothers and sister, we had almost a zoo of our own. We lived in Redondo Beach before it was all built up, so our home was surrounded by wild fields.
We caught mice, lizards, snakes, rabbits even hawks. We had a Sparrow Hawk for a couple of years
that was a delight! He sat on the back of chair at the dinner table and preened himself between nibbles of raw meat our Mother had the butcher cut especially for him.
We took him to the beach, and he enjoyed flying after girls and pulling the strings on their bikini tops!
The lifeguards banned him from the beach eventually.
We also had chickens, a raccoon ( not a good pet ) ,dogs, cats and a ferret.

The hawk was my favorite though.
