Will Chicken Layer Feed Pellets Work as well as the Powder?

We have four layer chickens. We have been using the powdered layer feed for four months. Yesterday my wife mistakenly bought the layer feed in pellet form. Is this okay to feed to our chickens? It looks too big for them to eat.

We have four laying hens (one rooster) and I recelty went to buy the powder mash and the were out, the salesman assured me that they would be fine with the pellets, he even gave me a money back guarantee, they ate it fine, I usually mix it with the scratch feed, don’t worry about the size, I've seen my hens swallow bugs bigger than the pellets.

Thanks for the answer. We had a problem getting them to eat from a new feeder, so I used the old one with the new one and they got used to it. They're eating the feed just fine. Thanks, and congrats!
