My 11 year old cat has vaginal bleeding, why?

My 11 year old cat has been bleeding from her vagina for a couple days, this is odd because my cat has never done this ,EVER.
and i don't understand why this would start out of no where, especially with her age.She has never had kittens or anything.

Vaginal bleeding is usually caused by an animal enter estrus (going into heat). If you cat has never been spayed this may be the cause.
When in doubt - go to your veterinarian, they will be able to rule out other possible causes.

Vaginal bleeding in animals is generally attributed to the animal entering estrus (going into heat). If your cat has never been spayed this could be what is causing it. If she has been spayed then it is imperative for you to take her to your veterinarian or animal emergency clinic.
Spayed or not - she really should be seen by a veterinarian.
