What sould I do when my cat is crying?

When I woke up this morning, my six year old cat was wailing, as if she was crying from pain. My friend says that one of her cats did that and it died an hour later in her arms. Will Kitty, (my cat), make it?

Is she still crying? Check to see if she has broken a bone, check her coat, eyes, mouth etc to make sure there isn't something visably wrong with her. If she is still acting up I would call your vet and make an appointment.

This is a common sign of a bladder blockage, and should be addressed immediatly. Please see your vet, as this is a medical emergency.

Never let your pet suffer, always call the vet if the condition continues. Our animals depend solely upon us to take care of them.

Firstly I think you should ask your vet to check her over, but it could be that if she hasn't been neutered she is what is called "calling" looking for a mate, they tend to cry almost like a baby shouting for it's mother. They also crawl along the floor and scream which can be scary, but I'm sure your vet will be able to but your mind at ease. I hope your cat keeps well.
