What dogs dont shed alot?

I am allergic to just about everything including dogs. But when I was younger, I was given a poodle because they don't shed alot and it was easier on my allergies. Although it was true that I did not suffer much from the allergies, the poodle itself was horrible. It growled at everyone and it ate my shoes, bit me, was hard to house train, and in the end he ate my couch.

I no longer have a poodle, I opted for a rat terrier. He does shed but not very much. He is a very good house dog and great with the kids because he takes the abuse the kids give him and comes begging for more. He loves to play and has a great personality.

I have a Lhaso Apso. They don't shed. Also a shitsu is adorable and doesn't shed at all.
Or how about the Obama's First Dog? Non allergic, non shedding. If you choose a new pup, you will see his personality on the spot. Don't get taken in by cuteness. All puppies are cute.
Spend some time and watch him in relation to other pups around him. Watch for aggressiveness,
shyness, independence, etc. When you see the right one, you will know it..... That's what happened to me!
