Most often white stools are an after effect of what the dog has recently eaten. Paint, perhaps? If the fecal matter is 'all' white not just flecked with white it is most likely dietary and will clear up in a few days. Don't ever be afraid to take your pet to the veterinarian for blood work and proper diagnoses. Also, if you bring you dog in to the vet bring a stool sample with you so they can test it.
