This is on the low end of average. This surgery should only be performed by a veterinary ophthalmologist. Often the cost reflects having to bring the specialist into the clinic for the day to perform the procedure. You may get it performed for a bit less at a veterinary college.

But this is just the vet performing the operation. Should it still cost that much?
Average cost here in Colorado for 2 eyes is $605 - 715 If a specialist is needed and must travel to you $825 - 950 So, as I said, this is on the low end of average.
