Unfortunately there is no way to know what it is with out a doctor examining the lump it could just be a groowth like a fatty tumor or it could be cancerous. I would at least call the vets office and speak with them or locate your nearest humane society or spca and they can sometimes help if money is an issue but you may have to surrender the dog. GOOD LUCK

The lump is like the whole right side of his chest like it's muscle over developed under his right arm.he has soft lumps on his belly but the vet saw those and said nothing about them last year when i able to take him to see the vet.

My family have had many, many dogs with lumps. They have all turn out to be fatty tumors and they usually keep getting them. It is actually very common but, as always I would take him to the vet to check but, don't worry to much it most likey is nothing.

Went to the vet and he said it was a fatty mass that can be taken out with surgery but it may come back.
