Maybe it wants more attention.it probably meows outside cause it wants in so it could play with you.that is why it is rubbing against people.you should try my suggestion.I hope this helps!

My cat is meowing more than usual WHAT'S WRONG ?
My cat is an outdoor cat and for the past two days he's been literally crying out side.I let him in to eat and he just keeps rubbing himself on everyone in our house. He really hasn't eaten today.He had a female compnion with him.She hasn't been around today. She's been gone before and he hasn't acted this way before.What can I do to calm him?

The female cat is probably in heat. Watch the male cat for spraying. If he starts that, then you know that is what is wrong with him. I have a female german shephard that is in heat right now, and she is driving our male dogs crazy, so I know what you are going through right now.
