Is she in heat, or is she spayed? In a spayed dog this is a medical emergency, in an intact female who is bleeding more than normal or is bleeding off her regular cycle, this may indicate Pyometra, also a life threatening medical emergency. Please see your Vet ASAP if this is the case.
