Cats can be given Buffered aprin at the rate of 10 mg/kg(2.2 pounds) by mouth once every other day. However, a cats liver and kidneys does not process medication the same way as humans, and so this should be done only under veterinary suppervision, and a cat should never me given more than 2 doses over 3 days in any one month period. Never never give your cat Acetaminophen
(tylenol) or Ibuprophen. When a cat is in obviouse pain, we consider this seriouse as cats tend to hide their pain very well, you may want to consider going to an emergency vet clinic, and chances are your vets office has someone on call for emergencys.
