Election rules

If the states of michigan and flordia's votes for a democatic nominee are not allowed this year as it looks they are not, will this be a fair election? And will the losing canidate have a cause for a lawsuit to have these counted. At the very end, i knw they have just said these votes will not count, but what i do not understand is how can this be fair does this mean the people that voted, voted for nothing and that our voices do not count. Can anyone out there help me understand this please.

Michigan and Florida knew what would happen if they moved up their primaries. Since they have a republican congress it made no difference to them what they did. However, all who are running in this election knew what would happen and they agreed to the rules sent down by the DNC. Now that one person is losing and need those votes, they want to reverse their position and asked that they seat the delagates. It's my understanding that a compromise will be forth coming. They only fair solution is to split them right down the middle or nither gets any.

But is this the fault of the voters or of the state? I am a voter but i have not made up my mind yet of who i am going to vote for not much to chose from if you ask me, but if this was the other way around would it be the same?

You would have to take a vote on whether or not the omission of Michigan and Florida from the Democratic convention is unfair. To be fair though, the votes of people in Michigan and Florida shouldn't count in the "fairness" vote either.

Whether it is fair or not, it was the decision of those states themselves to vote early even after being told they would forfeit their right to seat delegates at the convention. The candidates can not initiate valid lawsuits if Michigan and Florida are not recognized at the convention because all of the candidates agreed in advance to follow the party rules and decisions.

Bottom line, Hillary doesn't have a leg to stand on.
