I intend to vote whether I hear yet another "change" and since you want two my priorities are
Terms limits for all members of congress and less meddling in state legislation. Of course an Eisenhower or Kenndey era of immigration enforcement, more strict financial regulations, a maximum limit on interest rates, higher tax rates for wall street traders and CEOs, seizure of all of BPs assets until they get the well capped tighter than a chasity belt, Nancy Pelosi run out of Washington on a rail and finally make it a felony to print any more product packaging in any language but English.

I vote regardless of what is going on. People fought and died for my right to do that so I exercise it. It is one of the most precious rights that we have in this great country. I want to see the Democrats and Republicans who are spending our future generations money gone. They are all acting in an unconstitutional manner by involving themselves in the things that they are like healthcare.

One change if promised that would make me vote would be finally socializing health care once and for all. As well as reducing the tax on the lower lower class, lower middle class, lower upper class, middle lower class, middle middle class, upper middle class, upper lower class.
Then add taxes for the upper middle, and upper upper classes. How about a promise to totally eliminating taxes for everyone except the upper middle, and upper upper classes. They make so much money a 60 percent tax on gross profit would make America so rich we could rebuild the nation, and get out of debt. Our founding fathers made it so the rich paid more taxes (by percentage) than everyone else. It is why we broke from the aristocrats in the first place. How Ironic we are right back with the Aristocrats making the rules again. The republicans are few the phony republicans are many. The Aristocrats bank on the republicans to reduce there taxes. They rely on the middle classes to vote for what they want. If this is not mass brain washing, I do not know what is.

Taxing the rich will promote people to not attain greatness and the Bill Gates and Warren Buffets of the world will come from somewhere else. You can't punish success.

Here's one better Steve8. Let's make it completely fair. ELIMINATE the whole progressive tax structure altogether. It's all about buying power. The only equitable solution to taxation would be a national sales tax. Wealthy folks spend more so the naturally pay more. If they choose to stuff thier money in a matress then they spend less and pay less but also live less.
I'm of less than stellar income. I don't begrudge people who make more. Making a higher tax bracket for them only divides the people as a whole. Us and them and not WE the people is totally un American
