Is it too late to switch parties in time for the coming election?

I am a registered democrat who is having second thoughts about the upcoming election. Is it too late to change my party affiliation and become a republican voter?

Many states permit party affiliation changes right up to the general election. You should check with your local election board for its requirements. You can even take care of the party switch online in some states. You shouldn't feel hard pressed to change party affiliation right now because it doesn't matter what party you affiliate with, you still get to vote for anyone you want in the general election.

No, it is not to late to change parties. However you can vote for whichever candidate you want to in the general election.
